Organic Cranberry Apple Relish
2 pints of fresh organic cranberries
3-4 medium size organic granny smith apples- peeled and cut into small cubes
1/3 cup natural sugar (evaporated cane juice-granular)
2 tsps ground Saigon cinammon
1/2 tsp finely ground salt
1/2 cup water
stir ingredients and heat at medium heat. Continue stirring.
Ingredients will begin to boil
Cranberries will begin to blister and pop. Keep stirring until most of the cranberries have popped. Leave on stove a few minutes longer until it thickens
Remove from heat and let cool on stove. When cooled, refrigerate. Can be made several days ahead of time
