2 to 3 organic white, yellow or visalia onions (medium size) Cut into approximately 1 inch long by 1/2 inch wide pieces
1 TBSP Organic unfiltered olive oil
1 TBSP Organic Balsamic Vinegar
2 cloves minced garlic
1 tsp organic sugar
Place onions, olive oil and garlic into a stainless steel pan with lid. Cook on medium for approximately 4-5 minutes until the onions begin to soften
Add balsamic vinegar and sugar. Stir and reduce heat slightly and continue to cook further until onions become translucent and it begins to thicken.
Remove from heat. Can be served warm, room temperature or chilled and served like a relish.
