3 cups fresh organic basil leaves packed
2 cloves organic garlic sliced
Zest of half an organic lemon
2 TBSP fresh organic lemon juice
1/4 cup grated organic parmesan cheese
1/3 cup organic olive oil
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp fresh ground black pepper
Place leaves in Food processor and chop. Add garlic, lemon zest, salt and pepper and mix.
Add lemon juice and olive oil and mix. Lastly add the parmesan cheese and mix.
I use this pesto over chicken or served with turkey on a charcuterie board.
